Looking for RELIABLE FULL-TIME Shipping & Receiving Clerk

  • 1st SHIFT: 7am-3:30pm M-F with Saturday flexibility
  • Starting Pay: $16/hr

  • What will I be doing?

  • Load finished goods for shipping using sitdown Forklift
  • Unload raw materials using sitfown forklift
  • Put away and stocking warehouse
  • Organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis

Additional Responsibilities could Include:

  • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
  • Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
  • Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
  • Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
  • Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them

Required skills:

  • 2 Years of Sitdown Forklift Experience at the same job
  • Willing to work with a team or independently
  • Motivated and positive attitude
  • Basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, and multiply)

Preferred Skills:

  • At least 6 months of Shipping Clerk Experience using shipping software
  • A seasoned operator of excel
  • At least 6 months working in a shipping department
