Construction Superintendent

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage multi-family and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the construction project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and other construction personnel to ensure efficient and timely completion of the project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other team members, to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on site.
  • Keep accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of any changes or deviations from the original plans.
  • Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on multi-family and commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
