A growing manufacturing company in Waukegan, IL is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their 1st shift team This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

· Proficient knowledge of the principles of electronic, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic/vacuum systems and components found in food manufacturing equipment

· Specialization on PLC requiring edits, modification, and troubleshoot PLC programs

· 5+ years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment preferably, in a food manufacturing environment

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

· Interpret instructions, specifications, blueprints for equipment installation, operation, and repairs

· Perform installation, inspection, and repair of plant equipment such as Metal detectors, Baggers, Sealers and Scales

· Assist employees with diagnosing malfunctions in machinery, equipment or work processes

Schedule is 1st shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $33.00 - $38.00 an hour, based on experience
