Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd shift openings

Pay; $20.00 - $22.00/hour based on relevant experience, possibly more for the right candidate

Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Mechanic conducts production machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. The Maintenance Department is also responsible for maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines including motors, gears, and conveyor systems.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform maintenance on building and grounds including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing and grounds maintenance.
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
