Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has a Direct Hire opening for Mining Supervisor near Middleton, TN

The Mine Supervisor oversees the safe and efficient execution of all mining activities, ensuring production and ore control objectives are met while supervising site crews.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assign tasks to the mining crew.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate resources to meet production targets.
• Report to regulatory agencies (TDEC, MDEQ) and handle permit documentation.
• Interact with government agencies during inspections.
• Maintain high standards for ore control as per the mine plan.
• Collaborate with Corporate Mine Planning on site plans and drilling strategies.
• Conduct on-site drilling and update mine maps using AutoCAD and GPS technology.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and the mine site.
• Manage the Mining Department's budget.
• Maintain safe conditions on haul roads and the mine floor.
• Report faults in JDE and coordinate maintenance for repairs.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a mining environment.
• 2-3 years of supervision experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or similar software.
• Experience interacting with government agencies.

• Pay rate: $60K-$75K depending on experience
