**Overview:**
Ian Geddes Tree Care Inc., is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Arborist to join our team. As a Sales Arborist, you will play a crucial role in promoting our arboricultural services and fostering client relationships. This position requires a combination of arboricultural expertise, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively assess tree care needs, provide recommendations, and secure new business.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Consultative Sales:**
- Conduct on-site consultations with residential and commercial clients to assess tree health, safety, and overall arboricultural needs.
- Utilize knowledge of arboriculture best practices to recommend appropriate tree care services, including pruning, removals, and plant health care.

2. **Client Relationship Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and reaching out to potential clients, and networking within the community.

3. **Proposal Development:**
- Prepare detailed and accurate proposals outlining recommended services, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with company capabilities and standards.

4. **Sales Presentations:**
- Deliver compelling presentations to clients, effectively communicating the value of our arboricultural services.
- Address client questions and concerns, providing knowledgeable and reassuring responses.

5. **Goal Attainment:**
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Continuously identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth within the assigned territory.

6. **Market Research:**
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in regulations related to arboriculture.
- Use market insights to identify new business prospects and stay ahead of industry developments.

**Qualifications:**

- ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an Arborist with a strong understanding of tree care practices.
- Demonstrated success in sales roles, preferably within the arboriculture or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and internal teams.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of local tree species, diseases, and pests is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
