Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled 2D Drafting and Space Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will utilize their 2D drafting and schematic drawing skills, alongside their expertise in design and space management, to efficiently design and configure routing and clash-free systems for our semiconductor plant's facilities and tool hook-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 2D Drafting and Schematic Drawing: Utilize 2D CAD drawing skills to create accurate and detailed schematics for construction and design projects.
  • Space Coordination and Clash Detection: Design and manage space efficiently to detect and resolve clashes, ensuring the smooth integration of systems within the plant.
  • Routing and Configuration: Design and configure efficient routing systems that are free from clashes, optimizing space and functionality for semiconductor plant facilities and tools hook-ups.
  • 3D to 2D Conversion: Convert 3D models into 2D section cut drawings as required for construction requests, ensuring precision and clarity in the representations.
  • Collaboration and Training: Work collaboratively with CAD drafters, designers, and coordinators, providing training and guidance as needed to ensure high standards of design and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • 2D CAD Design Experience: Demonstrated experience in 2D CAD drawing design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • BIM Modeling/Coordination: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling or coordination.
  • Training Experience: Proven experience in training CAD drafters, designers, and coordinators, demonstrating leadership and mentorship abilities.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in 2D drafting and schematic drawing.
  • Strong space management and clash detection skills.
  • Ability to convert 3D models into precise 2D drawings.
  • Excellent design and configuration abilities for efficient routing systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor plant facilities and tool hook-ups.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications or training in CAD design and BIM modeling.
