  1. Reading Blueprints and Diagrams:

    • Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  2. Electrical Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify the root cause of problems and determine the appropriate solutions.
  3. Code Compliance:

    • Ensure all electrical work is compliant with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations to meet safety and legal requirements.
  4. Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

    • Operate various electrical tools and equipment needed for installation, maintenance, and repair work, ensuring they are well-maintained and in good working condition.
  5. Circuit Testing and Verification:

    • Conduct tests on electrical circuits to verify proper functioning and identify any issues that need to be addressed.
  6. Panel Upgrades and Installation:

    • Upgrade electrical panels and install new ones to accommodate additional circuits or meet the changing electrical needs of a residence.
  7. Grounding and Bonding:

    • Properly ground and bond electrical systems to ensure electrical safety and prevent electrical hazards, such as shocks and fires.
  8. Lighting Installation:

    • Install various types of lighting fixtures and systems in accordance with design plans and customer preferences.
  9. Energy Efficiency Improvements:

    • Suggest and implement energy-efficient solutions, such as LED lighting or energy-saving devices, to reduce electricity consumption and lower utility costs.
  10. Customer Communication and Education:

    • Communicate with homeowners to explain the work being performed, offer advice on electrical systems, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  11. Record-Keeping and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagrams, specifications, and service records, for future reference and billing purposes.
