We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our practice.

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant, you will support our dental team in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing patients for treatments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of operations. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills will contribute to the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including preparing instruments, materials, and treatment rooms.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
  • Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide post-operative instructions and patient education as directed by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update charts with treatment information.
  • Support the front office team when needed, including scheduling and patient communication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice.
  • Knowledge of PPO and HMO insurance plans.
  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
