Graphics Artist

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

Are you a hard working team player that can take an idea and turn it into a screen print graphic for apparel? You must have a positive attitude and be ready to take on challenges daily. Do you have CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator experience designing graphics for custom apparel? We are looking for an individual to help us develop new designs as well as make our customers ideas come to life. You'll be an integral part of our team and help continue our goal of making people look good

Responsibilities:

• Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designs
• Handle graphic projects from start to finish
• Develop and maintain image library files
• Coordinate with outside agencies and services as needed
• Submit rough layouts for project approval

THE JOB

You will be setting up artwork and separating for screen-printing apparel, heat transfer and digital printing. Mocking up artwork for customer's approval - which could be creating from scratch or altering a customer's provided art files. Correspond with customers via email or phone to make sure deadlines are met and proofs are approved in a timely manner. Use your knowledge to create fresh graphics for apparel and promo products in the school, business and college market. This will entail creating new designs, and working with product templates.

If you have social media and marketing skills - that is a bonus.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to vector images and to work with already vectored images to clean them up
• Understanding of color separations and how to create them from a vectored or high res image
• Thorough knowledge of Corel Draw and ability to work super-fast with this program (use shortcuts, etc.) (May consider Illustrator experience as well)
• In-depth experience designing for apparel.
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and disciplined work ethic - you must be able to follow written detailed instructions.
• Ability to manage time so tight deadlines are met within our fast paced environment
• Positive, problem solving attitude
• Experience with hardgoods like drinkware, keychains, etc. strongly desired
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test.
