Job Title: Senior Field Project Controls Cost Analyst

Location: Newnan, GA (On-site)

Duration: 24 Months (with possible extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Project Controls Cost Analyst to join our team at the project site near Newnan, GA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing cost analysis, forecasting, and project controls activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost management, forecasting, and project execution, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost analysis, forecasting, earned value management, change management, and risk analysis for the project.
  • Provide guidance to junior project controls personnel and act as a lead person on the project.
  • Lead the project control function and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project forecasts and advise the project team on matters affecting project execution.
  • Prepare baseline cost deliverables and analyze monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Manage quantity reporting and oversee the change management program.
  • Apply key scheduling processes and direct activities with subcontracted construction partners as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cost analyst with expertise in cost forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of project controls principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, project management software).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a field project environment.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and related cost management practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional, Certified Cost Professional) are a plus.
