We are looking for a mail room clerk with a high attention to detail to join our team for a 3-month project. As a Mail Clerk you will….

Mail Clerk Responsibilities

• Contact members utilizing the number on file.
• Makes daily pickups and deliveries to the Federal Reserve Bank, local clearinghouse, and U.S. Post Office.
• Update system by placing bad mailing address in system/members record(s).
• Document all accounts for bad mailing addresses.
• Opens envelopes by machine or by hand, provides timely mail and package deliveries, and picks up and distributes outgoing mail and packages. Date and time stamps receipt of expedited incoming mail and packages and notify recipients within 2 hours of receipt.
• Examine outgoing mail for appropriate appearance and make corrections as needed. Ensure appropriate postage is applied. Keep a record of registered mail.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies.

Mail Clerk Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
• Must have a vehicle – only used in circumstances to something outside of normal postal and FedEx pickups
• 6 months to 1 year of working mail.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Excellent communication and member service skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills to including but not limited to Microsoft, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Attention to detail
• Standard office conditions
• May require long periods of standing

Hours

Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Pay $17.00-$20.05
