Job Title: HVAC Estimator

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and locally-based HVAC Estimator to join our team in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate should possess a stable work history, have over 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating for medium to large construction projects, and be familiar with construction software, including Bluebeam.

Responsibilities:

• Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive HVAC project estimates for medium to large commercial construction projects.
• Bid Management: Manage the bid process, including reviewing bid documents, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring timely submission.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to determine project costs and potential cost-saving measures.
• Construction Software: Utilize construction software, including Bluebeam and other industry tools, to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the estimation process.
• Budget Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure alignment between estimated costs and project budgets.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and equipment.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand project requirements, address inquiries, and provide necessary information during the bid process.

Qualifications:

• Local Residency: Based in Orange County, CA.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial HVAC estimating for medium to large construction projects.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction software, including Bluebeam and other industry tools.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members.
