Entry Level 3D Modeler

We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Entry-Level 3D Modeler and Drafter. As a key member of our design and engineering department, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models and drafts based on project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for design and a desire to grow their skills in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) based on project specifications.
- Drafting: Generate precise 2D drawings and drafts for manufacturing purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall design process.
- Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of 3D models and drafts, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Revision and Modification: Implement changes and revisions to models and drafts as required, based on feedback from team members or clients.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including design files and records of changes.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of 3D modeling and drafting principles.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to skill development.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous coursework or training in 3D modeling or 2D drafting.
- Basic knowledge of engineering.
- Portfolio or examples of personal 2D/3D modeling projects.
