Our client has an urgent need for an Outside Plant OSP Technician out in Hillsboro for one of the social media giant's data center

 

Duration

6 month contract with high possibility of extension or full time hire (based on the needs of the client)

 

Job Duties:
• Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.
• Carry and load materials to be used on the job.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Must be willing to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months.
• Safety training as required by position.
• Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.
• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed.
• Remedial online safety training.

 

Top Skills needed

1. Outside Plant installation
2. Fiber and Telecom installation knowledge and experience-Fiber, Cat5, Cat6
3. Strong drive to work in construciton/structured cable environments

 

 

Additional Information

Monday-Friday schedule: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday's are typically a shortened day. OT is very common and occasional Saturday work is required.
