Job DescriptionJob Description

Scope of Duties: Operate Forklift, loading/unloading material from shipping trucks, distributing material to assigned locations throughout the facility yard, monitoring facility yard for cleanliness and organization, collecting trash and debris from all areas of facility yard and depositing in trash containers throughout the facility yard. Heavy computer work and data entry. Shipping/Receiving and Inventory duties will apply. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 to 70lbs., Steel-Toed-Boots are required, All other PPE required for these duties. will be supplied

 

Additional Scope of Duties for Facility Equipment: will also be for the monitoring, inspection (oil ,water, hydraulic fluids) operation of these forklift units for regular maintenance(s) that would be performed by our Fleet department when necessary.

 

The units which will be utilized are 4000-6000lb forklift units, smaller telescoping type units. There are regular drivable non-telescoping forklifts, which maybe utilized on occasion but expectations are you will be predominantly be driving the 4000-6000 lbs unit.
