Valet Parking Attendant

The Californian on Wilshire HOA has an opening for a Full-time Valet Attendant in the PM shift. The schedule is from 3:00pm to 11:30pm Saturday to Wednesday. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, a pre-employment drug screen and verification of COVID-19 vaccination. Candidates must have a valid California Driver license and preferred 2 years Valet parking experience, preferably in a High-rise Luxury Condominium.
The pay rate is $ 17.00 / hour, a bonus program plus a very competitive health benefit plan. Included is a sign in bonus worth $500.00 after completion of the 90 days probation period.

Valet Attendant Job Description
A valet will greet guests and residents when they drive into the driveway of the building, open their car door and helping with baggage. Then you will guide them to the front door and open it for them. You will give them a valet car ticket, so they can retrieve their car, then park their car in the parking garage. You will be expected to know where all of the parking spaces are located and to whom they belong. You will be expected to learn the names of the homeowners and residents as quickly as possible, studying a list of their names so as to pronounce them properly. You will address all residents as “Mr., Mrs., or Ms.” First names of homeowners are not allowed to be used. You will be expected to move quickly when retrieving and parking cars but with the utmost of care. Should damage to a vehicle occur, you must report it to your supervisor or the General Manager immediately. You will be expected to know in which unit each person lives. You will know interchangeably who is calling for their car, for example: the owner of 2602 or Mr. Jones. You will check your pockets at the end of every shift you work as you get ready to leave the job to make sure you don’t have anyone’s keys with you. Removing a resident’s or guest’s keys from the property may result in disciplinary action. You will report any damage that exists on a visiting vehicle, or damage done to a vehicle while in our custody, immediately upon noticing, to a manager or to the Front Desk attendant. Photos are to be taken of the damage and an Incident Report is to be made by the Front Desk attendant.
