Rolite Mfg. is a fast growing company located in Lancaster, NY. Due to our continued and deliberate growth we are in need of qualified Tool and Die associates in order to sustain our current work load. Rolite offers a health care plan, paid time off, competitive pay, and four day work weeks with the possibility of overtime.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate various Roll Form machines in order to form coiled stock into final print shape dependent on customer orders.
  • Utilize powered industrial trucks to load coils onto pay off.
  • Utilize welder to splice material head and butt together in order to continue feed to drive line.
  • Utilize measuring tools such as depth gauges, tape measurers, calipers, micrometers, and feeler gauges to ensure product meets quality requirements as detailed by written directives and part prints.
  • Minor maintenance and machine upkeep as needed such as cleaning, monitoring lubrication levels, straightening and tightening rolls, removing cut off die from press for further maintenance.
  • Change over mill between job orders.
  • Pack various materials into wooden or cardboard crates.
  • Other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to read and write.
  • Ability to utilize and understand a variety of measurement tools.
  • Stand for 10+ hours per day.
  • Lift 35+ pounds.
  • Prior Roll Mill experience preferred but not required.

Current ownership purchased Rolite in 2007 after 50+ years of combined service to the company with 13 employees. Today we have over 60 employees and have had to expand our building twice. While we continue to grow, ownership is still hands on on a daily basis while fostering a culture emblematic of employee first.

We currently have openings in Maintenance, Tool and Die, Press Set-up, Progressive Die Operation, as well as many entry level production positions aimed at training individuals to grow into more complex positions within the company. We also have openings in two NYS Apprenticeship Programs (Tool & Die and Millwright) while a third will be planned for September 2024 (Electro-Mechanical Technician) that are open for all employees to apply to.
