Pride Health is hiring a Accessioner I to support our client’s medical facility based in Pensacola FL. This is a 3 month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Job Title: Accessioner I
Location: Pensacola FL
Duration: 3 Months+
Schedule: 8-AM-5PM Mon-Fri 1st shift
Pay Range: $18 per hour

*Pay rate is based on years of experience and educational qualifications.

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pathology Lab Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing laboratory samples, primarily working with tissue samples in our pathology lab. You will collaborate with other laboratory professionals to catalog and manage patient specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue, ensuring accurate analysis and reporting.

Essential Duties:

Receive and triage all specimens for clinical testing.
Manage and input clinical information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) database.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure testing accuracy and timely results.
Qualifications:

0-2 years of relevant work experience. Previous lab or pathology lab experience preferred.
AS or BS degree in biological sciences preferred; HS diploma or equivalent acceptable.
Proven attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:

TB vaccine required (declination form accepted for medical or religious reasons).
Color vision and TB screening required.
