Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a talented Floral Designers that have a creative eye and an artistic flair for arranging flowers and other botanical materials. The Floral Designer will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements, selecting the right flowers and colors for each arrangement, and ensuring that all floral decor aligns with each event’s defined needs. The successful candidate will also be expected  to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Have knowledge of flower varieties and their characteristics.
  • Create floral arrangements for weddings, special events, and everyday occasions.
  • Create orders for each event , keeping records and customer information.
  • Coordinate with Creative director to understand preferences and needs their needs for each of event.
  • Be able to use a variety of tools such as scissors, wire cutters, and florist knives.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.

Job Type: Part-Time or Per Diem

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

  • Day shift
  • Wednesday and Friday 
  • Weekend availability required- mostly Saturdays for events 

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Plainview, NY 11803: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Floral design: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Plainview and/or on location at event venue throughout Long Island or NYC
