Job Summary:

Demanufacturing associates are tasked with breaking down/DeManufacturing and organizing various client IT assets ranging from; servers, televisions, computers, network equipment, etc. which will eventually be recycled.

Responsibilities:

  • De-manufacturing end-of-life electronics including desktops, laptops, cable boxes, and servers;
  • Verify items on the Supplier provided Packing List (if provided and required);
  • Take Photos of each pallet and store electronically;
  • Assisting with completing shipping paperwork provided by the driver/customer and submitting it to the Operations Manager;
  • Unpackage the skids/gaylords and sort into segregated material boxes;
  • Triage personnel shall determine if the equipment can be sent to ITAD department for further evaluation or recycle in accordance with company policy;
  • Inspect for visual damage including cracked cases, missing parts, etc;
  • Report defects, accidents or violations;
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks;
  • Weighing and documenting inbound and outbound loads; and
  • Other duties are required.
What you need to succeed:
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch and walk.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb to balance.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Must regularly utilize personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hat, safety shoes, hearing protection, and gloves.
  • Require good spatial perception and manual dexterity.
