Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Shop Helper will be train as a Entry Level Machinist for the following:

Operating CNC lathes and mills to produce parts according to specifications. Conducting dimensional inspections and documenting results. Monitoring machine functionality and ensuring proper operation. Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety protocols. Documenting manufacturing processes in the ERP system. Reading and interpreting blueprints. Performing setups and adjustments to ensure part alignment. Manual adjustments through grinding or drilling. Inspecting work for conformity to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness. Practicing safe work habits. Other duties as assigned.
