Position: Delivery Driver

Department: Mill, Hastings

Direct Supervisor: Mill Supervisor, Hastings

Work Hours: 5am - 3pm (Monday - Thursday - overtime as needed)

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use various equipment in the Mill department to produce kitchen and bathroom cabinet parts.
• Deliver cabinets and cabinet parts to various locations throughout MN and WI, driving a short-box truck (approx. 32’ which has automatic transmission) under a variety of traffic and road conditions.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strength and stamina to lift 25 lbs. constantly, including overhead.
• Strength and stamina to lift 50 lbs., frequently.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, twist, kneel, squat, sit, push, and pull for the entire work shift.
• Able to push/pull cabinet parts with a pallet jack while walking.
• Able to read a road map and follow GPS instructions.
• Able to read and communicate effectively with basic English.
• Able to provide valid documentation to work in the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Must represent the Company in a positive manner while driving and interacting with customers.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate within 2 weeks of hire date.

JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS:

• Must be able to work in moderate levels of wood dust.
• May be exposed to moderate levels of carbon monoxide.
• Must be able to work in temperature extremes both indoors and outdoors.
