Barnsco is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse/Yard Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our operations, interacting directly with both internal and external customers to facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of orders. Your contribution will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our warehouse and yard, ensuring smooth and timely fulfillment of customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Loading and Unloading: Safely and responsibly load customer orders onto Barnsco fleet trailers and customer-owned vehicles.
• Order Processing: Accurately process orders by scanning ASA tags as per the Inventory Control Manager's directions.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of Barnsco’s product offerings.
• Customer Support: Assist counter sales representatives in retrieving products for customers.
• Facility Maintenance: Perform small maintenance tasks as needed and ensure the warehouse and yard are clean, organized, and free of trash and debris.
• Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as requested by the Inventory Control Manager, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Communication: Strong communication skills; bilingual ability is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills and experience.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, full use of arms and hands for tool usage, capability to climb equipment, and good vision for close and distant tasks.
• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
