Job DescriptionJob Description

Aegis has an opening for a Maintenance Manager with a client of ours on first shift. If you meet the expectations please apply below. 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, including at least 5 years in leadership
  • Proven experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments
  • Bachelors Degree or Masters - preferred
  • Expertise in managing maintenance budgets, invoicing, project management, and leading CapEX projects, including hiring and supervising third-party contractors
  • Skilled in overseeing new equipment installations, building modifications, and contractor interfacing
  • Strong skills in developing, budgeting, tracking, and reporting financials for the maintenance department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of researching and identifying advanced equipment for upgrades
  • Proficient in negotiating contracts with vendors and ensuring operational efficiency through timely inspection and repair
  • Ability to manage and improve labor costs, yields, and supply usage levels
  • This role does require 6 days a week work schedule. Variety of different days worked. Able to stay or come in early as well.
