Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis is a part-time/full time position depending on the applicants availability. Experienced cleaners may start higher with demonstrated experience.
The residential cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the customer’s home and its surrounds (see below). To be successful as a residential cleaner, you should have great stamina, a positive attitude, and dedication to excellence. Top-notch candidates should display strength, efficiency, attention to detail and respect for the home and its inhabitants.
Residential Cleaner Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- A working vehicle, driver’s license and current car insurance.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand, sit, and stoop for long periods.
- Polite disposition.
- A positive attitude.
Residential Cleaner Responsibilities:
- Review the detail cleaning sheet for each residence. If the client has left notes, determine how their requests will fit into that day’s cleaning.
- Clean houses with a variety of chemicals and disinfectants.
- Cobweb ceiling areas, vents, walls and fans
- Scrub showers and tubs.
- Clean and disinfect vanities and sinks.
- Clean toilets with toilet brush and chemicals.
- Scrub stains, mold, and mildew from surfaces.
- Wash bathroom floors on hands and knees
- Clean and dust blinds and window treatments.
- Clean cabinets, countertops and backsplashes
- Wipe down and shine appliances.
- Wash dishes and put dishes away in cupboards.
- Wash baseboards and walls.
- Vacuum hardwood floors and carpet.
- Dust mop and mop floors.
- Sweep up debris.
- Handle furniture carefully.
