JOB DESCRIPTION:

AS A SERVICE WRITER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INITIATING AND PROCESSING REQUESTS FOR REPAIR SERVICES AND PROVIDING ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, KEEP CUSTOMERS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES APPRISED OF WORK PROGRESS.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR HISTORY OF SERVICE WRITING/ESTIMATING & MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

- GREAT ATTENDANCE

- POSITIVE CAN-DO ATTITUDE & GREAT WORK ETHIC

- MAINTAIN GOOD HYGIENE AND DRESS APPROPRIATELY

- ABILITY TO WORK EFFICIENTLY BOTH INDEPENDENTLY & AS PART OF A TEAM

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- CONDUCTING SALES CALLS/COLD CALLS

- WARMLY GREET AND LISTEN TO OUR GUESTS’ CONCERNS TO DETERMINE THEIR NEEDS

- PERFORM Pre Delivery Inspections

- PREPARE ESTIMATES FOR SPECIALTY VEHICLES IN AN ACCURATE AND TIMELY FASHION

- SECURE AGREEMENT FROM THE CUSTOMER AND/OR INSURANCE COMPANY PRIOR TO ALL REPAIRS

- QUOTE AND ORDER,TRACK & SOURCE PARTS

- COORDINATE REPAIR PLAN WITH TECHS PERFORMING WORK

- COLLABORATE WITH OUTSIDE VENDORS FOR SUBLET

- WRITE SUPPLEMENTS & NEGOTIATE REPAIR TOTALS

- DOCUMENT REPAIR PROCESS

- MONITOR REPAIR ORDER ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE PROCESS

- ABILITY TO CLIMB, BEND, PUSH, LEAN, TWIST, REACH, KNEEL, CROUCH, AND PERFORM OTHER MANEUVERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE JOB

- CARRY OUT OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS NECESSARY FOR THE ROLE

SERVICE WRITER/ESTIMATOR WAGES: DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE, WITH A SIGN ON BONUS OF $500 ($250 PAID AFTER 6 MONTHS EMPLOYMENT & $250 PAID AFTER FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY.)
