We are looking for a confident multitasker who is willing to jump into a busy and fun setting. This position requires someone who will be loving and encouraging while fulfilling the duties of a full-time preschool teacher. You should be a fun and enthusiastic worker who is ready to work with children ages 3-5 years old. This is a very hands-on and busy job, including leading activities and class games, organizing supplies, and daily classroom cleaning.

No previous experience is necessary.

A positive and upbeat work environment with a supportive and friendly staff. Approx. 36-39 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Skills

• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as a mediator between children
• Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
