Job Description:

Full-Time Pension Consultant position. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position located in Schnecksville, Pa. You must be able to work on-site (not a work-from-home position). We offer a company-paid benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with work experience and demonstrated ability. Please include your most current salary in your response.

Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

  • Prepare annual valuation reports
  • Plan administration (all phases/components)
  • Prepare Forms 5500
  • ADP/ACP testing
  • Balance forward and daily valuation defined contribution plans
  • Determine eligibility and contribution allocations
  • Perform testing (nondiscrimination, coverage, top-heavy)
  • Determine HCE and Key Participants
  • Knowledge of deduction rules, participant limitations, and distribution rules
  • Understand and process plan loans and QDROs
  • Able to accurately analyze financial statements and prepare balance sheets
  • Field questions from clients, trustees, plan participants, attorneys, and IRS

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in the pension field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accounting background
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline conscious
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Experience with record-keeping, spreadsheet, and word-processing softwares (Excel and Word required)
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work independently and with others
  • Knowledge of Relius Adminstration considered a plus
