Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays), we use Dexis
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records (we use Open Dental software)
- Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and dental terminology
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software
- Experience in taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
