Photographer sought for a project involving scanning/digitizing thousands of glass plate negative slides and use of a high-resolution scanner as well as a digital camera to scan the images and performing such "touch-up" editing on the image as necessary in Photoshop software. The project also involves printing a positive image of each negative, placing the glass plate in an archival sleeve for storage, and entering inventory information on each slide into a digital collection data system. The glass slides need to be handled with great care.
This is a part time position with flexible hours with as much work as 20 hours per week available.
