Will work directly under the Maintenance Manager, will assist in completing daily production goals within the washroom and ensuring a consistent output of material to the production floor. The supervisor will help cover breaks / lunch breaks for dept. personnel. The washroom supervisor will also fill in as operator should there be inadequate coverage on any given day of the week where production is running.

Proven record of 2+ years previous mechanical background, knowledge of Industrial / commercial washroom equipment, along with supervisory experience is highly recommended. This is a full time 40 hr per week position, overtime as needed.

Job Description / Position Summary

• Will have oversight of Tunnel Operator, Dryer Operator and Cart Washer personnel
• Set goals for employee performance in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision, ensure that employees understand their duties and importance
• Monitor employee productivity/ transfer rates, provide constructive feedback, coaching
• Effectively maintain communication between soil dept., washroom personnel and production supervisor
• Accurately record operating time, downtime at the tunnel position
• Notifies the Maint. Supervisor and/or Maint. lead on duty when repairs are needed
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Shift end duties performed in timely manner
• Scheduling of washroom employees time off and coverage
• Follows safety rules and precautions
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Reports to the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis
• Reports to the Prod. Manager when Maint. Manager is unavailable

Job Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of commercial tunnel batch washers, commercial dryers and miscellaneous washroom machinery, it’s operation and functionality.

Mechanically inclined with problem solving skills

Electrical troubleshooting ability

Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure

Understand the importance of high production output rates, effectively & efficiently execute

Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders/catwalks for extended periods of time.

Ability to Read, Write and Communicate in English
