Immediate Opportunity for a Compounder / Compounder Assistant in the City of Huntington Beach. Great opportunity for longevity and growth. The company is a leading company in the manufacturing industry, known for its high-quality products and commitment to excellence.

Required Shift Schedule (2nd Shift) 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour - Depending on experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of measurement systems, the ability to handle raw materials efficiently, and a keen eye for quality. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth and accurate preparation of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately understand and apply measurement systems, including dimensions and weights, to use meters and scales correctly.
  • Ensure precise measurements of ingredients to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Assist in handling raw materials prepared for each batch.
  • Lift items manually and with the assistance of hand jacks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Safely transport materials to and from designated areas.
  • Recognize and understand chemical names and compositions.
  • Conduct quality inspections of products and ingredients to identify any abnormal characteristics.
  • Report any inconsistencies or quality issues promptly.
  • Perform manual and automated cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Assist the lead compounder with operating and maintaining equipment necessary to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or compounder role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
  • Familiarity with measurement systems and the ability to use meters and scales accurately.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to recognize chemical names and observe abnormal characteristics.
  • Experience with operating hand jacks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to undergo an interview before starting.
