Emergency Dispatch Operator

The Emergency Dispatch Operator will be responsible for monitoring electronic security systems including intrusion detection, video cameras, badge verification, and general access control. In addition, Operators will also be tasked with providing remote gate access, receiving, and reacting to large call volume, regulatory requirements, and maintaining enterprise situational awareness.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring the safety of company employees and property by monitoring and responding to physical access control system alarms in a prescribed manner. Interact with callers/customers to determine location, nature of incident/issues to determine appropriate response. Perform data entry in multiple databases; follow established procedures. Work involves detailed record keeping, data entry, and acute listening skills. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality dealing with incidents and security techniques.
Job Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask
Proficient computer and MS Office suite skills.
