Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent City Agency, in Rockbridge County, VA area, is seeking Maintenance Worker to join their team

Maintenance Worker Job Summary:


  • Pay: $15.51 an hour
  • 1st Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Full Time
  • Maintenance Worker performs unskilled manual work for a variety of Public Works infrastructure construction, maintenance, etc.
  • Assists in mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, leaf and litter collection
  • Loads and unloads tools, equipment and assorted materials, may operate assorted tools, small engine equipment
  • Assists with snow and ice removal
  • Maintenance worker assists with community activity support and performs other related tasks as required
  • Any other duties as instructed by supervisor

Maintenance Worker Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 year old or older
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, push, pull, stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Safety glasses, ear plugs, safety vest (Provided)
  • Steel toe or composite toe boots- over the ankle (Required)
