Job description

Sterling Personnel, Inc. is looking for a full-time maintenance technician for a multi-unit residential facility. This role will undertake the responsibility of performing maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC, installation, landscaping, etc. This is a temporary assignment with an undefined end date. The typical schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with a pay rate of $17/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues
• Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
• Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance

Job Requirements:

• Personal gauge to measure freon levels in AC units required
• Prior HVAC experience is preferred
