Sparks Group has partnered with a leading healthcare research hospital and is seeking a Cash Operations Manager - Grants Accounting. The Cash Ops Manager will be responsible for managing the post-award cash management operation and providing functional system support to staff. Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the liaison between staff and the IT support team as well as planning and implementing strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward better system processes for the office
  • Partner with leadership and staff to develop priorities, initiatives, and cultivation strategies
  • Perform collection of receivables, resolution of award invoice denials, and bad debt
  • Follow-up with sponsor agencies to facilitate appropriate reimbursements

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related business field
  • 5 years' working in sponsored post award administration
  • 2 years supervisory experience in Accounting environment
  • Demonstrated Technical expertise working with ERP systems (Peoplesoft)
  • Serve as liaison for the ERP system for all Cash / reconciliation issues
