Report to Deputy Director of Museum Operations

Part-time position, four days a week from Thursday to Sunday

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Graduates or Bachelor’s degree

Security Officer Certificate

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The watchman is unarmed. Under the guidance of the Director or Deputy Director of Museum Operations, engage in vigorous activities of security for the museum:

Employee shall perform and render services as a part-time watchman for Employer. The responsibilities of a watchman include, but are not limited to, patrolling the premises of IAMA, following and enforcing the rules, policies, and code of conduct of IAMA, monitoring security cameras, observing and reporting incidents, suspicious activity, illegal activity, and/or unsafe conditions to IAMA administration and/or the San Francisco Police Department, completing detailed reports and activity logs, and assisting visitors and employees of IAMA as needed.
