Electronics Technician

Taylor Staffing is seeking an electronics technician for a large manufacturing facility in Shawnee. Must be able to undergo a background check and drug screen prior to hire. 

Responsible, under minimal supervision, for trouble shooting of electrical and electronic equipment throughout the plant. Responsibilities include analyzing, researching, and repairing the equipment (motors, drives, PLC, networking, substation).

Job Duties:

• Maintain plant electrical systems, perform electronic maintenance and troubleshoot plant equipment
• Assist mechanics with electrical/mechanical repairs
• Complete scheduled/unscheduled electrical maintenance work orders
• Provide preventive maintenance and outage assistance in support of plant operations
• Support electrical problems by assisting in the initiation and maintenance of a root cause analysis program
• Perform housekeeping duties daily, to ensure a safe and clean working environment

Education Desired:

Associates degree in Electronics Technology or Military Training equivalent

Experience Desired:

4-8+ years experience in the performance of Industrial Electronic Maintenance

Work Shift Schedule: 12 hours Nights
