ALL MY CHILDREN Daycare and Nursery School is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Lead Teacher for our Preschool.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Ability to develop and implement an ongoing program of activities promoting the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child enrolled in a group

  • by creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for young children (ages 2-5)
  • by teaching early childhood education classes that are age appropriate
  • by providing information to parents regarding child development and by engaging parents in child’s education process
  • by modelling support and respect for All My Children DayCare and Nursery School efforts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • having 3 -5 years experience working in an Early Childhood setting
  • being warm and loving with a positive attitude and appreciation of children
  • having strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • being flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of all children and program requirements
  • being respectful to all people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
  • having an ability to organize and reflect teaching goals and progress in documentation: lesson plans, assessments and evaluations
  • having an ability to engage children in developmentally appropriate ways (including addressing children at eye level, sitting with children on the floor, engaging children in play and conversation
  • having an ability to attend to daily tasks as an educator
  • DOI and DOE

Must Have One Of These Qualifications:

  • Must Have A Masters in Early Childhood Education .(Certified Birth-2) Preferred
  • Or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Childhood Education and a Study plan
