Job Title: Blender – B Level (Full-Time)
Location: Channelview, TX
Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour (temp-to-perm, negotiable depending on experience)

Shift: Flexible schedule – Nights and days

Position Overview:
The Blender – B Level is responsible for mixing and blending chemical formulations according to detailed batch sheets and blending instructions. This role involves operating various equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Mix and blend chemical formulations using blend sheets or recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the batch area.
Monitor and inventory tank activities daily.
Weigh and meter blend components accurately using volume meters and load cells.
Handle, pump, and transfer various chemicals safely.
Connect tanks and hoses for blending and packaging processes.
Monitor blending operations, including mixing times, temperatures, and fill levels.
Use tank charts and gauge readings to ensure correct filling volumes and safe levels.
Maintain records of all blend activities in line with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Requirements:
Must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
Must have chemical handling experience.
Forklift certification required.
Proficient in data entry.
Flexible schedule, available for night and day shifts.
High school diploma or GED minimum.
Experience in a blending or chemical handling environment is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
Physically fit and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Knowledge of chemical hazards and safety.
Ability to perform basic math and linear calculations.
Familiarity with blending equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, kettles).
DOT Hazmat certification and spill response training are a plus.
