Construction Laborer

Multiple Positions available:

Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator

Asphalt Paving General Laborer

We are looking to hire Asphalt workers/laborers. This position is working on commercial projects located in the Memphis Mid-South area.

The pay range for these positions is $15 and up per hour based on experience. Most of our field employees are getting 40 to 50 hours per week. All applicants must have their own personal vehicle, and be ready to work hard outside for 40+ hours a week. Pay will be weekly and direct deposited for employee convenience and there is no one week delay Health Insurance available after 90 days of employment and 401(k) with matching after 1 year.

Job Responsibilities

Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.

Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.

Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.

Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.

Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.

Job Skills & Qualifications

One or more years of experience in construction

Ability to lift

Excellent stamina

Physical requirements:

Able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently

Able to work in in-door/out-door climate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
