We are seeking a friendly and experienced X-Ray Tech to join our dedicated team at our reputable hospital for a travel assignment. As a Travel X-Ray Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the diagnosis of various medical conditions by using radiographic equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for X-rays by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Operate X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders.
  • Consult with physicians and other medical professionals on appropriate imaging techniques and findings.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients during X-ray procedures, following proper radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient exams and results.
  • Assist with the maintenance and calibration of X-ray equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering any questions or concerns they may have during their visit.

Requirements

  • Certified X-Ray Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, including anatomy and positioning.
  • Proficient in operating digital X-ray equipment and imaging software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
