Cadence Physical Therapy Co in Buffalo Grove, IL, is actively seeking a dedicated part-time Patient Care Coordinator / Receptionist to join our expanding outpatient physical therapy practice. This role has the potential to transition to full-time based on strong performance.
At Cadence Physical Therapy Co, patient care is our top priority, and we're in search of someone who is deeply committed to aiding others and fostering a strong sense of community. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly, outgoing personality, excel in multitasking, have exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming patients upon their arrival
- Managing phone calls
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Ensuring patient adherence to scheduled appointments
- Collecting payments from patients
- Overseeing our call log
- Handling new patient intake and communication
- Preparing weekly reports
- Keeping the front office and waiting area tidy
- Explaining benefits to newly evaluated patients
- Assisting patients through the sales process to ensure they are fully signed up for care
- Scheduling follow-up appointments post-evaluation
- Managing patient billing, including accurate collection of patient dues
- Performing data entry tasks with proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and basic data entry skills
- Filing insurance claims
