We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to buildings, property, and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Responsibilities include maintaining the grounds, courtyards, parking areas and common area facilities of the property. These areas must be kept clean, neat, orderly, and safe. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior fixes, wall repair, minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Do exterior property upkeep by removing sand (sweeping), collecting trash etc
- Mandatory snow removal, often overnight
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during work day
- Must bring and use own tools at job site
- Reports to property manager
- Assist with other community tasks as assigned by manager
Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Light carpentry
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Painting
- Custodial duties, cleaning, sweeping
- Ability to perform physical tasks, pushing dumpsters, lifting 50lbs, walking property
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain positive and professional attitude towards residents
- Must work well with other employees
- High school diploma or equivalent
Background check and drug test performed
