Skilled Service Technician -

Jerry’s is growing and we would love to have you join our team Jerry's Chevrolet GMC is looking for a skilled service technician for its growing and busy service department. We are located in between Sioux Falls, SD and Sioux City, IA.

Requirements:

  • Experience preferred but all skill levels encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work on several makes and models.
  • Applicant must have their own tools.
  • Applicant must have experience in all areas of auto tech repair
  • Applicant must have a high quality of work/fix it right the first-time work history
  • The drive and motivation to do your best and help your team grow around you
  • The applicant must be able to work on all makes and models, cars, pickups up to 1 ton, gas and diesel
  • Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment 
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify mechanical problems 
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, suspension systems, and transmissions 
  • Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as necessary 
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines when working on vehicles 
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a dealership setting
