Womxn of Color Therapy Inc (woctherapy.com) is seeking a part-time licensed therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) to join our group practice in Sherman Oaks. Potential to grow to full-time.  We are the perfect place if you're looking for a dynamic work culture with womxn who are committed to serving BIPOC communities. 

Requirements

  • Therapist must have experience working with women and/or teen issues.
  • Therapist must have experience with multi-cultural counseling working with BIPOC populations.
  • Therapist must be licensed for 1+years.
  • Applicants who have a separate private practice or are a part of another group practice are not a good fit.
  • Must be available on either Saturday or Sunday, plus two evenings.
  • Ideal candidate will be willing to grow slowly while moving through the credentialing process, with potential for a full-time caseload.
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be punctual
  • Ideal applicants have a history of long-term employment and infrequent job-hopping.

Skills

  • Must be skilled in multicultural counseling, working with women's issues, and intersectionality.
  • Ability to provide collaborative and outcome-based therapy to individuals.
  • Skilled in running groups for women and teens.
  • Marketing skills a plus.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy services to women and/or teens of diverse backgrounds.
  • Facilitate groups with women and teens focused on anxiety, co-dependency, and self-care.
  • Maintain office hours that are conducive to client needs
  • Maintain proper file documentation practices and electronic health records.
  • Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours and no later than 72 hrs from the date of service.
  • Be punctual to sessions with clients

Benefits and Pay

  • This position is a W-2 position with accrued paid sick time
  • Two-week vacation time will be provided to employees working full-time: 25 or more hours per week for one year.
  • Medical and dental coverage will be provided for employees working full-time 25 or more hours per week.
  • Weekly collaboration with Clinical Director available upon request.
  • Malpractice insurance will be covered for all employees.
  • Matching retirement plan 
  • $20/hour for non-clinical hours such as staff meetings and training
  • $50/hr for clinical hours + commission
  • Clients will be provided for you
  • $300 yearly CEU stipend
