AP AR Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable clerk to assist our accounting department. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Hands-on training with our numerous transaction cycles.
• Recording daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and expense transactions in Quickbooks. We will need assistance posting various expense, revenue, payment, and receipt transactions.
• Downloading necessary information from the various builder portals.
• Organizing, filing, scanning, and copying necessary documents.
• Assisting with sub contractor payments. Organizing, recording, and reviewing the payments made to sub contractors every two weeks.
• Monitoring our receivables and payables.

Job responsibilities will be increased over time if the assigned duties are performed satisfactorily and if the candidate has proven he or she is capable of performing more challenging tasks. We are in search of an individual that has a driven work ethic, a willingness to learn, and is able to exercise exceptional attention to detail. Experience with Quickbooks or related accounting software is preferred. Experience with bookkeeping and the construction industry is also preferred.
