The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Heavy's Barburger. This role involves ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, staff development & accountability, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a profitable operation. The GM is expected to lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Operational Management:**
   - Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring food quality, staff training & retention, and profitability.
   - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
   - Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
   - Manage maintenance and repairs of restaurant equipment and facilities.

2. **Staff Management:**
   - Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff.
   - Create work schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.
   - Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
   - Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations issues.

3. **Customer Service:**
   - Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
   - Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
   - Develop and maintain relationships with regular customers.

4. **Financial Management:**
   - Manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance.
   - Analyze financial reports and take corrective actions as necessary.
   - Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.

5. **Marketing and Sales:**
   - Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers.
   - Plan and execute promotional events and activities.
   - Monitor local market trends and adjust business strategies accordingly.

6. **Compliance and Reporting:**
   - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
   - Prepare and submit required reports to the owner or regional manager.
   - Maintain accurate records for payroll, inventory, and other operational aspects.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Financial acumen and understanding of P&L statement.

**Working Conditions:**
- The GM may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The role involves long periods of standing and walking.
