East Side Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant. This is can be either full time or part time. We are looking for someone is is a team player, loves animals and is excited to come to work. The skills we are looking for our candidates to possess are as follows:

  • Performing diagnostic tests and x-rays
  • Preparing animals and instruments for surgery
  • Willing to learn how to administering medications, vaccines, and treatments
  • Providing emergency first aid or general nursing care
  • Observing and reporting on the behavior and condition of animals
  • Restraining animals for examination or treatment
  • Collecting and recording animal case histories
  • Educating animal owners on home care
  • Answer phones and direct clients to the correct department

Full time employee are eligible for 401K, Dental and Medical insurance after probationary period
